Record the channels. Keep the gallery.
Planned for court reporters and legal videographers: record people separately, keep the gallery view, and plan backup recordings.
The idea is to keep each person’s recording, the gallery view, and a backup, so you can review them afterward.
Channels is not ready to try yet. Before testing, we will explain which meeting apps and computers work with it, what it costs, and how to get access.

The recording direction.
Keep individual feeds separate
The plan is to record each person’s audio and video separately. These individual recordings are often called ISO recordings.
Keep the gallery view too
Gallery recording is part of the planned direction, alongside the individual feeds rather than as a substitute for them.
Plan a backup recording
Backup recording is part of the plan. We need to test what it can recover if the main recording is interrupted.
Fit the professional workflow
Channels is being planned for the meeting apps court reporters and legal videographers use. We will confirm which apps work and which files you can save before testing.
Questions about Channels.
Can I download Channels today?
Channels is a planned product. There is no download or Preview offer yet, and access and release dates have not been announced.
What does ISO mean here?
ISO means recording each person’s audio or video separately. That is the plan for Channels; supported meeting apps still need testing.
Which conferencing apps will it work with?
We have not confirmed them yet. Before you try it, we will list the supported meeting apps, computers, accounts, permissions, and file types.
Will it guarantee a recording if a connection fails?
We cannot promise that. Backup recording is part of the plan, but we need to test what happens during an interruption and explain the limits before use.
How does it differ from Live by DepoStack?
Channels is planned for separate recordings and a gallery view. Live is planned for following the proceeding with recording, a working draft, readback, and review.
